30.09–04.10.2024: P3H Summer School
The CRC TRR 257 is organizing a Summer School on subjects related to “Particle Physics Phenomenology after the Higgs Discovery'', which will be held in Bingen am Rhein from Sep 30 to Oct 4, 2024. It is aimed at researchers at advanced PhD and early career postdoc level and covers subjects such as Effective Field Theory, Higgs Phenomenology, Amplitudes, Resummation and Parton Showers, Flavor Physics, Machine Learning and Quantum Computing. 25.9.–27.09.2024: Young Scientists Meeting of the CRC TRR 257
The Young Scientists Meeting is a three-day meeting for all members of the Collaborative Research Center TRR 257. The scientific talks will be presented by young scientists (PhD students or PostDocs) and they will focus on the various projects of our CRC. This will give all participants the opportunity to gain a better overview of these projects and allow the speakers to present their research in front of a large audience. The Spring Meeting of the German Physical Society (DPG), division particle physics, takes place at KIT this year. With more than 10,000 physicists annually from Germany and abroad, the DPG-Frühjahrstagungen (Spring Meetings) rank among the largest physics congresses in Europe.

The theoretical particle physics group of Siegen university will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 19th. Alumni will present their professional careers after graduating from TP1, followed by a colloquium by Prof. Michael Krämer from RWTH Aachen university. More details here.
