Open postdoctoral and PhD positions in theoretical particle physics

The Collaborative Research Center Particle Physics Phenomenology after the Higgs discovery, established by the German Research Foundation (DFG), is a joint venture of particle theorists from RWTH Aachen University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), University of Siegen and Heidelberg University. The Center invites applications for a number of postdoctoral and Ph.D. positions with a starting date in the fall of 2020. We are looking for candidates with experience in Higgs physics (to be based in Heidelberg/Aachen), perturbative QCD at colliders (to be based in Aachen) and dark matter (to be based in Aachen).

Candidates should submit applications via Academic Jobs Online https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/15161. An application should include cover letter, curriculum vitae, short summary of research interests and copies of grades transcript (only for Ph.D. applications). Applicants for postdoctoral/Ph.D. positions should arrange for three/one letters of reference, respectively.

The Collaborative Research Center explicitly encourages applications from qualified women. Applicants with disabilities will be given preference if equally qualified. The deadline for applications is December 8, 2019.
