Open postdoctoral and PhD positions in theoretical particle physics

The Collaborative Research Center Particle Physics Phenomenology after the Higgs discovery, established by the German Research Foundation (DFG), is a joint venture of particle theorists from RWTH Aachen University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), University of Siegen and Heidelberg University.

The Center invites applications for a number of postdoctoral positions with a starting date in the fall of 2021. We are looking for candidates with experience in Higgs physics, effective field theories or machine learning (CRC projects A2a and A3a, to be based in Heidelberg or Aachen) and precision calculations for Higgs physics in BSM models (CRC project A3b, to be based at KIT).

Candidates should submit applications to Ms. Zahra Donyai (trr257@particle.kit.edu). An application should include cover letter, curriculum vitae, and s short summary of research interests. Applicants should arrange for three letters of reference.

The Collaborative Research Center explicitly encourages applications from qualified women. Applicants with disabilities will be given preference if equally qualified. The deadline for applications is December 6, 2020.
